Dewberry is seeking a Construction Engineer to join our Construction Management group for projects in the greater NYC metropolitan area. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, and preferred candidates have experience with project documentation, weekly reports, monthly estimates, change orders, and as‑builts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor operations for compliance with contract plans, provisions, and specifications.
• Coordinate and schedule various phases of construction inspection with the prime contractor and other agencies.
• Proactive in identifying field issues and discuss solutions with supervisor.
• Collaborative approach to working in a team that includes the owner and contractor.
• Prepare and process construction records, including RFIs, submittals, field measurements for progress pay applications, extra work billings, and contract change orders.
• Document all field activities and represent Dewberry with clients in a professional capacity.

Salary Range

The projected range for this position is $80,000-$90,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
