Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Concrete Laboratory Technician to join our Sarasota team. No experience is required as you will learn under the guidance of experienced professionals to safely perform a variety of tasks in our concrete laboratory.

We offer paid training, opportunities for certifications, and room to grow within the lab. The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and data recording accuracy, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required; paid training provided and certification fees paid.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and follow directions under supervision.
• Strong communication and data recording accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic laboratory tests on concrete and construction material samples under supervision.
• Assists with sample preparation and testing procedures.
• Compiles test results, data input, data processing, and other administrative duties.
• Performs concrete laboratory testing including stripping/labeling, curing setup, temperature logs, and sample breaking under supervision.
