Geo-Technology Associates, Inc (GTA) is seeking candidates for a Concrete Field Technician position based in our Nashville, TN office. GTA offers in-house and on-the-job training and will cover certification costs through the American Concrete Institute.

Responsibilities include sampling, QC testing, field reports, and coordinating with contractors while working under experienced mentors to launch your construction industry career.

Qualifications

• Own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Available to work evenings and occasional overnight or weekend.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship not available).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enjoy outdoor work.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unaided and up to 100 lbs with assistance; frequent bending and moving.
• Safety toe boots required.
• ACI certifications a plus, not required.

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc (GTA) is seeing candidates for a CONCRETE FIELD TECHNICIAN opportunity located in our Nashville, TN office. GTA will provide in-house and on the job training, and will pay for you to become certified as Concrete Field Technician by the American Concrete Institute.

• Collect fresh samples of concrete and perform quality control testing (Temperature, Slump, Air and Unit Weight and Molding Cylinders)
  
• Transport and log concrete and masonry samples into the lab
  
• Observe and document construction activities to assure compliance with technical specifications
  
• Prepare daily field reports and test summaries documenting work
  
• Interact with contractors, clients, and GTA personnel to evaluate site conditions and participate in work progress meeting.
• Work closely with experienced professionals who will mentor and train you to jump start your career in the industry
