Job summary

Intervention, Inc. in Henderson, CO, is seeking an entry level Criminal Justice Community Corrections Specialist. This Swing Shift role involves monitoring clients, enforcing rules, and providing safe, consistent supervision within the facility and in the community.

No prior experience required; training and career growth opportunities are offered along with solid benefits and PSLF eligibility. Hourly pay ranges from $19.10 to $21.96 depending on shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years customer service and/or security experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of cultural and socioeconomic characteristics for the client population.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients toward pro-social behavior and protect staff and community through monitoring and enforcing policies.
• Carry out duties in line with company values and procedures.
• Educate new clients on facility policies and complete orientation.
• Monitor client movement and ensure sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and document incidents accurately.
• Complete paperwork and maintain confidentiality.
