Job summary

Cargill is hiring an entry-level Commodity Trading Associate to join a fast-paced team handling grain, oilseeds, feed, and by-products. You will manage risk, develop relationships with elevators and processors, and help negotiate contracts in a dynamic market environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships with country elevators, producers, feed mills, and processors.
• Analyze supply and demand, survey market conditions, and other economic forces to grow Cargill's market position.
• Initiate, negotiate and agree on terms of commodity purchase/sale contracts (price, quality, quantity, transport, timing, payment).
• Coordinate transportation and logistics to execute contracts.
• Ensure thorough follow-up, execution, and closure of all contracts; communicate with sales, logistics, QA, plant personnel, engineers, and accountants.
• Make occasional plant and crop survey trips to suppliers and customers; participate in other projects as needed.
