The ideal candidate is eager to learn, mechanically inclined, and able to perform basic services such as oil changes and tire rotations. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Title: Entry-Level Commercial Mechanic

Colony Tire is currently seeking a full-time Entry-Level Commercial Mechanic to join our team in Raleigh, NC! The ideal candidate is eager to learn, mechanically inclined, and ready to develop skills in diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Summary

Employee will be required to perform tire and auto-related services, as well as other duties assigned by the manager.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The environment may or may not be air conditioned/heated seasonally. Employees frequently work with dirty and greasy parts and in awkward positions. The employee must regularly lift up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. As a result, minor workplace injuries are not uncommon, but employees usually can avoid serious accidents if safe practices are observed.
