Job summary

PennEngineering in Danboro, PA is seeking a motivated, entry-level Cold Forming C Operator to join our Manufacturing Team. You will learn to set up and operate cold forming machines, forging parts from wire stock, while entering our training program toward C1 to C4.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Paid on-the-job training provided.
• Willingness to learn micrometers, calipers, comparators and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate cold forming machines on the job.
• Operate a minimum of one cold forming machine under supervision.
• Follow setup sheets, drawings and tool charts with micrometers and hand tools.
• Observe and monitor automatic machine operation.
• Learn cold forming fundamentals: upsetting, extrusion and piercing.
• Inspect parts, verify dimensions and report out-of-tolerance items.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and complete SPC charts as needed.
• Ensure material traceability and keep the work area clean.
