Orion Castings in North Billerica, MA is hiring for an entry-level General Machine Operator (CNC). No experience required; we provide comprehensive hands-on training to operate CNC machines, load parts, monitor cycles, and ensure safety and quality on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills with accuracy.
• Strong aptitude to learn new technical information quickly.
• No prior machining experience required; full training provided.
• Reliable commute to North Billerica, MA facility.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/unload parts into CNC machines.
• Use basic measuring tools and maintain inspection logs (training provided).
• Maintain production rates and workflow.
• Detect and report tool wear or machine variances to supervisor.
• Follow detailed work instructions and safety rules (OSHA/orion policies).
• Perform other production and housekeeping duties as assigned.
