Qualifications

• Entry level position with no prior machining experience.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual mills and lathes following instructions.
• Follow work orders to produce only the quantity required.
• Load stock into position and set up loads.
• Verify dimensions using first-run parts and samples per standards.
• Maintain dimensions during drilling, grooving, turning, facing and threading.
• Adhere to safety procedures to ensure safe operations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Document actions and shift communications; update logs.
• Seek opportunities to add value and improve processes.
• Follow quality standards to meet customer and company specifications.
