Job summary

DeSHazo, LLC is seeking an Entry Level Machinist in Huntsville, AL. You will learn to set up and run CNC equipment, read prints, and produce mechanical parts for material handling equipment and automation systems under experienced machinists’ guidance.

Successive learning will cover reading prints, applying tool wear offsets, and moving toward running your own jobs as skills grow. No prior shop experience is required, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or current enrollment in machining/manufacturing program.
• Willingness to learn hands-on machining skills from experienced machinists; no prior shop experience required.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel) are expected.

Responsibilities

• Learn to safely operate CNC machining equipment under guidance.
• Run proven jobs – load, cycle, unload, and inspect parts against prints.
• Read prints and BOMs, and verify features and dimensions.
