Job summary

OPW, a global leader in fluid-handling solutions, is hiring an entry-level CNC lathe operator. You will study work orders, blueprints, and GD&T to set up machining parameters and produce parts under close supervision.

Applicants will follow standard procedures and be able to interpret engineering plans, while using gauging techniques and SPC charts to ensure quality. Training and a discretionary bonus are part of total rewards.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position, little to no prior experience required.
• Ability to read work orders and blueprints with guidance.
• Follow standard procedures under supervision.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Produce machined parts on CNC lathe machines.
• Study orders, blueprints, and specs; interpret GD&T and reference planes.
• Set up machining parameters and verify dimensions with gauging tests.
• Maintain quality by checking SPC charts and measurements.
