Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation in Tyler, Texas seeks an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to learn soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt testing on commercial projects. Onsite fieldwork, training, and industry certifications are provided after successful examinations and demonstration of ability.

You'll perform field density tests and concrete tests, assist with sampling, and coordinate with project managers and senior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in materials testing helpful.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field density tests of soils.
• Perform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and strength.
• Prepare daily reports.
• Work with project managers and senior technicians to ensure specifications are followed.
• Perform routine sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt and assist with more complex tasks.
