Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation seeks an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician to support projects across Haslet and Justin, TX. The home office is Grapevine, TX, with fieldwork in the Fort Worth area.

You’ll learn to test soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt, with training and certifications provided after exams and demonstrations. Ideal candidates enjoy outdoor work, safety-focused, and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, vocational degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50–75+ pounds.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Related work experience in materials testing or construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform field density tests of soils.
• Perform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and strength.
• Prepare daily reports.
• Work with project managers and senior technicians to ensure specs are followed.
• Perform routine sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
