Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technicians to join our Bloomington, MN office. No experience required; we will train. As a technician, you will learn to perform tests on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt on various commercial and transportation projects.

The role offers on-site testing and opportunities for certification. Candidates should be comfortable outdoors in varying weather, able to lift 50-75 pounds, and have a High School diploma with a valid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather.
• Flexibility to work extended or nontraditional hours.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Related work experience in materials testing or construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform field density tests of soils
• Perform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and strength
• Prepare daily reports
• Work with project managers and senior technicians or staff to ensure specifications are followed
• Perform routine sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt and assist with more complex tasks, as required
