Job summary

Borg Design, Inc. in Hudson, Massachusetts is seeking a CMM Programmer / Quality Technician to learn and grow in a precision CNC manufacturing role. Training will be provided, and you will work closely with machinists, programmers, and quality teams.

You will learn to create, modify, and run CMM programs using PC-DMIS or Calypso, inspect machined components from drawings and 3D CAD models, and develop measurement strategies while interpreting GD&T.

Qualifications

• Learn to create, modify, and run CMM programs with PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software.
• Develop inspection programs from engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Learn CMM setup, datum structures, and measurement strategies.
• Perform dimensional inspection of precision CNC-machined components.
• Interpret drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify CMM programs and inspect components.
• Align parts and set up datum structures for measurements.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers on dimensional issues.
• Prepare First Article Inspection documentation.
