Credence is seeking an entry/junior-level Cloud Platform Engineer to support secure AWS hosting environments for Department of War customers. You will join an established platform team, learn from senior engineers, and take on increasing ownership of operational and automation work.

Responsibilities include monitoring AWS services, automation, and IaC, with a focus on DoD security compliance. Candidates with 0–3 years of experience and AWS/Gov clouds are encouraged to apply.

Qualificações

• 0–3 years of experience in cloud, DevOps, systems administration, IT infrastructure, or a related field.
• AWS certification or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
• Working knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
• Basic scripting ability (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Familiarity with Linux and Git-based workflows.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination.

Responsabilidades

• Support day-to-day operation of AWS platform services, including monitoring, logging, access control, patching, backup, and configuration management.
• Resolve operational tickets and elevate complex issues with clear documentation.
• Turn recurring manual tasks into scripts, automation, and standardized deployment patterns.
• Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) under senior engineer guidance.
• Help onboard workloads to platform services and standard deployment patterns.
• Keep runbooks, procedures, and system documentation accurate.
• Work with Cloud Engineers, Solutions Architects, and Cybersecurity staff to meet DoD security and compliance requirements
