Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking an entry-level Clinical Technologist to support patient flow and clinical tasks in a fast-paced clinic. After 4–6 weeks of training, you’ll perform duties independently in a role ideal for Medical Assistants and Patient Care Technicians looking to grow.

You will assist with patient rooming, vitals, documentation, and procedure support while adhering to HIPAA, OSHA, and UVVC standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred).
• Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program.
• Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
• Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
• Uphold HIPAA standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
