Job summary

Meissner Filtration Products in Camarillo, CA is seeking a Production Associate to join our on-site cleanroom team. You will manufacture basic assemblies, read SOPs, and learn core skills under guidance while maintaining pace and quality.

No prior experience is required, but a commitment to precision and safety is essential. You will work with automated equipment, assist in welding cycles, and use MVP Web to track production orders and inventory.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Production skills are trained by Meissner Personnel; no other training is required.
• A personal commitment to produce the highest quality product is essential.
• Demonstrate ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Demonstrate ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions).
• Basic computer skills are essential with ability to quickly learn customized software applications (i.e., MVP Web).
• Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to work in a controlled cleanroom environment.
• May involve working overtime and weekends, depending on production needs.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture basic assemblies and visually inspect according to SOPs and work instructions.
• Read and understand SOPs to properly perform necessary manufacturing operations.
• Learn fundamental assembly and cleanroom skills under direct guidance.
• Maintain adequate production pace to meet schedule while ensuring accuracy.
• Visually inspect and package all finished products for adherence to specification print.
• Recognize and report basic defects or issues with components or assemblies.
• Adjust machine settings according to SOPs and clean equipment as needed.
• Observe automated machinery and notify senior operator, production lead or supervisor of any irregularities.
• Initiate welding cycle of various pieces of machinery involved in production.
• Interface with computers/software which facilitates all phases of production activity including tracking of production order status, electronic batch record generation, inventory lot control, etc.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, SOPs (including cleanroom and gowning requirements), and quality standards in every task, and promptly report any deviations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace; regularly or monthly performing sweeping, mopping, and surface sanitization in compliance with cleanroom standards.
• Follow directions and detailed instructions from senior operators or leads with precision.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
