Job summary

ICF is seeking an entry-level Clean Transportation Researcher to plan and complete tasks on vehicle electrification, emissions reduction, and decarbonization for federal clients. Hybrid work options include Crystal City/Arlington, VA; Waltham, MA; or NYC offices, with Summer 2027 start.

Pay is anticipated in the mid $60Ks, and duties include research, writing, data collection, and client communication as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation, environmental science, energy, public policy, or a related field.
• Experience or knowledge in electric vehicle and alternative fuels markets.
• Ability to analyze locations for EV charging infrastructure.
• Understanding of policy/regulatory context for transportation energy.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with EV and alternative fuel vehicle markets and trends.
• Analyze locations for EV charging infrastructure.
• Lead or support development and deployment of outreach resources.
• Develop innovative, high-quality products and services as part of a team.
• Data collection and maintenance.
• Interact with and communicate with clients.
