Job description

ICF is seeking a Clean Transportation Researcher responsible for planning and completing project tasks related to vehicle electrification, alternative fuels, emission reduction, transportation decarbonization, and advanced technologies in the transportation sector. Work may include research and writing related to the costs and benefits of advanced vehicle technologies and alternative transportation fuels, research on industry trends, writing reports and developing presentations. Work primarily supports federal clients such as the National Laboratory of the Rockies and the U.S. Department of Energy. This is an entry-level, full-time position expected to begin Summer 2027. Work will be performed in hybrid setting from either ICF’s Crystal City (Arlington), VA, Waltham, MA, or New York City office (those with a preference should indicate such on their resume/cover letter). Pay is anticipated to be in the mid $60K range.

Basic Qualifications

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
