Job Summary

POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is seeking an Entry‑Level Civil/Structural Engineer to work in its Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Department in Birmingham, Alabama. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions.

Required Education/Experience

• BS Civil Engineering (BSCE) degree from an accredited university.
• Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.

Desired Education/Experience

• Minimum 2.75 Grade Point Average (GPA).
• Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying.
• Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially in civil and/or structural engineering.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) registration is desired.

Base Salary Range

$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year. Salaries are based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
