Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our Water Resources Team in the Metro Atlanta area. A bachelor's degree is required, with 0–3 years of related experience. Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D or Revit is preferred, and EIT is a plus.

Excellent writing and communication skills are essential. A flexible hybrid-remote schedule is available after 90 days of employment. The role includes technical planning, design, permitting, and construction support on water

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 0–3 years of related experience
• AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Revit experience preferred
• EIT preferred
• Excellent writing, organizational and communication skills essential

Responsibilities

• Provide technical planning, design, permitting, and construction support on water utility projects
• Prepare engineering calculations and analyses of alternatives
• Prepare design reports and construction plans using local and state standards
• Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D and Revit
• Review plans and specifications
• Prepare/assist with permit submittals
• Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
• Assist with project scope, budget, and schedule
• Monitor task budget and progress
• Document design changes and communications
• Conduct on-site inspections as needed
• Prepare project status and other reports
• Assist in proposals andProject Managers
• Attend client and staff meetings and maintain client relations
• Maintain a safe working environment
