Carollo Engineers, a premier water-focused engineering firm, seeks an entry-level civil/environmental engineer in Phoenix, AZ. You'll contribute to planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater systems, supporting reports, cost estimates, and data analyses.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in civil, chemical or environmental engineering, 0–4 years of related experience, and Engineer-in-Training, with proficiency in MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
  • Coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; water and wastewater design.
  • 0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training Certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team work and self-motivation.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
  • Work on engineering planning and design projects.
  • Prepare reports and develop plans and specifications.

  • Assist with permitting and alternative analyses.

Responsibilities
  • Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
  • Work on engineering planning and design projects

  • Provide engineering services during construction
  • Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design
  • 0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training Certification
  • Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and water and sewer hydraulic calculations/modeling software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM)
Compensation Range

An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
