Tetra Tech is hiring an entry-level Engineer or Scientist graduating in May/June 2027 with an interest in environmental compliance. The role will be based in Goshen, Rochester, or Syracuse, NY, with potential for hybrid or remote work.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Geological Engineering degree and are eager to learn and contribute to environmental permitting, monitoring, and solid waste projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans and specifications.
• Perform engineering design calculations.
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, environmental data, and aerial photographs.
• Prepare environmental monitoring plans.
• Draft construction plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Prepare construction cost estimates.
• Collect and/or review environmental monitoring data, including air, gas, stormwater, and groundwater data.
• Prepare environmental reports.
• Oversee construction projects to monitor progress and ensure conformance with engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards.
