Job summary
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer in Charlotte, NC for Fall 2026 graduates.
You will work with project teams to create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and residential clients, including site layouts, grading, and utilities. You'll interact with clients and contractors through design, regulatory review, bidding, and construction phases, helping deliver projects from concept to grand opening with potential ownership
Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering; MS a plus.
- E.I.T. or FE certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Ability to speak and write professionally.
- Experience with commercial real estate site design is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work with project teams to create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and residential clients.
- Design site layouts, grading plans, stormwater facilities, and utilities.
- Interact with clients, contractors, and local officials throughout the project lifecycle.
