Job summary

KPFF Los Angeles is seeking motivated entry-level civil engineers to join a collaborative team. You will contribute to site development projects, prepare designs and calculations, and assist with permits and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include field data collection, site visits, and contributing to storm water plans. A BS degree (or higher) and EIT certification are preferred, with strong communication and teamwork a must.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher required; internships welcomed.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in civil design projects: site plans, grading, drainage, utilities.
• Prepare calculations, drawings and specs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits, collect data, ensure safety and design standards.
• Support scheduling, permits, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors on projects.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
• Prepare Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan updates and site inspections.
