Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Tavares, FL is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer for our Land Development team.

This entry-level role supports planning and design under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, with opportunities for career growth and potential ownership as you develop professionally. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited), have a valid driver's license, and can pursue EIT within a year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable Driving Record.
• Ability to obtain an EIT Certificate within one year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and design of Land Development projects under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Perform schematic design work, calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
