Job summary

Langan is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team in San Antonio, TX. This role will assist in planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.

You will gain hands-on experience in site/civil design for mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, and federal projects, using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to support project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 0-2 years of work experience preferred.
• EIT or FE exam registration preferred.
• Prior internship or professional experience in site/civil design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, schedules, cost estimates and design plans using engineering software.
• Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, test and aerial photographs to assess soil, terrain, hydrological data for planning and design implications.
• Recommend new approaches to improve efficiency and services.
• Apply knowledge and techniques of engineering and advanced mathematics.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
