Job summary

Collins Engineers in Denver, CO is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join our bridge and transportation structural inspection team. This role offers hands-on project ownership and opportunities to contribute to preserving critical infrastructure.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, 0–4 years of experience, and the ability to obtain an Engineer-In-Training designation within one year. Relocation assistance is available to support new hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year university.
• 0-4 years of experience.
• Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspection/fieldwork of bridges and transportation structures.
• Reviews and interprets plans and design drawings.
• Documents findings and assists in inspection and assessment reports.
• Supports the development of maintenance or repair recommendations.
• Prepares design computations and quantity estimates.
• Collaborates with senior engineers/technicians on inspections.
