Job summary

Jabil seeks a hands-on assembler to manually place parts on circuit boards in strict accordance with workmanship standards. You will follow detailed verbal or written instructions and use visual aids, barcode scanners, and small hand tools to assemble and label components.

You will inspect parts for proper insertion, maintain a clean 5S work area, and work under supervision while ensuring safety policies are followed and procedures are adhered to at all times.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed verbal or written instructions and use visual aids.
• Basic numeric skills for measurements and tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret visual aids and assembly diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Place parts on circuit boards following workmanship standards.
• Perform basic, standardized and repetitive assembly operations and labeling.
• Prepare and assemble components per visual aids with specs verified from visual aids.
• Visually inspect parts for proper insertion and placement.
• Maintain 5S order and clean work area at all times.
