Job summary

Pace Life Sciences, a global contract development and manufacturing organization, is seeking an Associate Scientist I for raw materials testing in Lebanon, NJ. This onsite full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with a $25 per hour compensation package and a base on experience and internal equity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field.
0-1 years’ pharmaceutical experience or equivalent.
Experience in a cGMP or GLP pharmaceutical industry environment.

Responsibilities

Perform analytical testing for incoming, in‑process and final products, and stability samples using lab equipment such as balances, pipettes, pH meter, UV/Vis spectrophotometer, and TOC analyzer.
Regularly perform water sample collection.
Collect gas samples from client sites and conduct gas testing.
Back up QC instrument maintenance and calibration.
Prepare the laboratory for audits and support general lab operations.
