Eurofins Food Chemistry Madison is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to join our Madison, WI laboratory. You will apply GMP/GLP practices, learn routine analyses, and document study data while maintaining records and using lab equipment and software relevant to assigned tasks.

The role emphasizes independent work within a collaborative team, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple tasks with accurate record-keeping. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or laboratory experience may substitute for degree.

• Learns to plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments

In 2021 we moved into a brand new ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in Madison, WI designed to conduct food chemistry testing specializing in infant formula, sole-source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and a variety of botanicals. Our testing portfolio includes vitamins, minerals, contaminants, pesticides and shelf-life studies.

We test of a variety of instrumentation including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies. Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Applies GMP/ GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate

• Contributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains a positive attitude. Plans individual workload in coordination with team members

• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (laboratory experience may be substituted for a degree)

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

• May work with potentially hazardous materials

• Will be exposed to potential food allergens (ex: milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, etc)

• Overtime and weekend work as required

• Work requires some standing and sitting for long periods of time, including working within a laboratory hood and standing at a bench top

• Work requires use of PPE (personal protective equipment)

• Reside within a commutable distance to Madison, WI
