Job summary

Eurofins Food Chemistry Madison is growing and seeks a motivated laboratory professional to contribute to GMP/GLP compliant testing in a brand-new Madison, WI facility designed for infant formula, nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and botanicals.

You will learn to perform routine analyses, document work and study records, operate UPLC/HPLC/GC/LCMS instrumentation, and participate in project meetings. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (laboratory experience may be substituted for a degree)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• May work with potentially hazardous materials
• Exposure to potential food allergens (e.g., milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish)
• Overtime and weekend work as required
• Work involves standing/sitting for long periods in a lab setting
• Use of PPE (personal protective equipment)

In 2021 we moved into a brand new ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in Madison, WI designed to conduct food chemistry testing specializing in infant formula, sole-source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and a variety of botanicals. Our testing portfolio includes vitamins, minerals, contaminants, pesticides and shelf-life studies.

We test of a variety of instrumentation including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies. Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Applies GMP/ GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Learns to conduct routine analyses independently and in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOP’s and regulatory agency guidelines
• Learns how to document work and maintains study documentation and laboratory records
• Learns how to use laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks
• Attends and participates in project meetings
• Learns to perform peer review of data
• Learns to plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments
• Contributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains a positive attitude. Plans individual workload in coordination with team members
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reside within a commutable distance to Madison, WI
