Job summary

Purdue University invites applications for a Level I Chemical Engineer to support the PARI PEEL Lab. You will apply foundational chemical engineering principles to design, test, and optimize energetic-material processes across laboratory, pilot, and full-scale operations.

Under guidance of senior staff, you will develop process diagrams, models, reports, and SOPs, contribute to safety, QA/QC, testing, data analysis, and root-cause investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
• A minimum of one internship experience.
• Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support lab and process operations; prepare technical and process documentation.
• Implement standard operating procedures; support QA/QC activities.
• Conduct testing, sampling, data assessment, and process modeling; maintain safety and compliance.
