Job summary

Biery Cheese Co. is seeking a Packaging Technician Level 1 (PT1) for our Operations team. This entry-level, full-time role supports packaging of cheese products while complying with GMP, SQF, and safety standards. The PT1 may perform sanitation duties and various line responsibilities depending on the product.

Shift options include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with pay rates starting at $16 per hour and applicable shift differentials. Occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to deliver outstanding results with quality workmanship.
• Demonstrate reliability and good work ethics, attention to detail is a must.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging lines and perform basic production duties as assigned.
• May perform sanitation duties as needed.
• Record tracking information from bulk cheese containers/LPs to table placards.
• Operate Swiss and 640 lifts to load machines and ensure proper setup.
• Perform routine quality checks and hold team members accountable.
