Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is hiring entry level Class A drivers to run dry van routes primarily across Oklahoma. The position offers comprehensive real-world training and competitive pay, which starts at $650/week during training and increases to $1,000/week for the first three months, reaching between $1,400 to $1,800/week thereafter.

As a driver, you will adhere to regulations while ensuring safety and effective communication with dispatch. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL and a minimum age of 21.

PAY BREAKDOWN

• Training pay: $650/week
• First 3 months: $1,000/week guaranteed
• After that: $1,400 to $1,800/week average

HOW IT WORKS

You're paired with a trainer for 4 to 6 weeks. You run actual freight together — not a simulator, not a classroom. Once your trainer clears you, you're on your own.

Training covers:

• Operating a Class A tractor-trailer safely
• ELD systems and hours-of-service compliance
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspection procedures
• Dispatch communication and company protocol

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Haul dry van freight, mainly east of I-35
• Bi-weekly home time
• Full DOT regulation complianceAccurate ELD logs and DVIRs
• Thorough equipment inspections, every shift
• Professional communication with dispatch

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Class A CDL
