Job summary

American Driver LLC in Birmingham, AL is hiring for an entry-level truck driver program. No experience is required; you will be paired with a mentor and trained on live freight, moving to solo driving as you gain readiness.

4–6 weeks of fully paid training, ELD/HOS and daily operations covered, weekly pay, and a gradual pay increase after six months. Equipment includes Freightliner/Kenworth, with a rider and pet policy from day one.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required and age 21+.
• 120+ hours of instruction from an accredited truck driving school.
• No major violations in last 3 years.
• No DUI in the last 5 years.
• Urine and hair follicle drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Complete 4–6 weeks of paid training with a dedicated mentor.
• Learn live freight handling and progress to solo driving.
• Follow ELD/HOS rules, inspections and daily operations.
• Drive no-touch dry van freight with 60% drop & hook and 2,200–2,500 miles weekly.
• Receive weekly pay, orientation and potential pay increases.

Training

• Stop, layover, and breakdown pay
