Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No years' experience in low voltage electronics required.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working on ladders and lifts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio).
• Ability to lift 60+ pounds.
• Willingness to learn cabling standards and basic networks.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians on-site with installing and maintaining analog and IP CCTV systems, access control, and data cabling.
• Install, terminate, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling per Skyline standards and local codes.
• Aim and focus cameras as needed.
• Assist with telecom closet buildouts and wire management.
• Commit to workplace safety and provide daily feedback to the team.
• Take photos and compile client notes; track travel and on-site time.
