Job summary

Good Day Farm is seeking an Extraction Tech I to assist in the extraction lab for concentrated marijuana products. You will perform formulation, preparation for packaging, and support the extraction process while adhering to SOPs.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating extraction equipment, data recording, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in a regulated facility. A high school diploma is required and 1–2 years in a regulated industry is preferred; eligibility for a state medical

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge.
• Ability to use standard office equipment and software including word processing, data base management, spreadsheet applications and email.
• Be able to resolve problems by examining data and selecting corrective steps.
• Must have strong communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.
• Maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management and handle conflicts constructively.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must understand and operate within state laws governing medical marijuana programs.
• Understanding of lab/manufacturing task variety.

Responsibilities

• Carries out routine tasks following SOPs.
• Follows safety procedures and safety checks.
• Prepares biomass for extraction.
• Loads and unloads extraction machines.
• Formulates marijuana concentrates.
• Performs filling and packaging processes.
• Records processing data.
• Follows cleaning schedule/regimen.
• Maintains stocked workspace and supplies.
• Keeps equipment operating by following instructions and troubleshooting.
