Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an entry-level CAD Drafter in Columbus, OH to support utility installation projects with underground construction drawings. The role provides on-the-job training and a path to grow CAD drafting skills within a collaborative engineering team.

Ideal candidates have basic CAD experience (AutoCAD; Civil 3D a plus) and coursework in drafting standards, GIS, surveying, or engineering technology. Associate or Bachelor’s degrees in engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical certificate preferred.
• Basic experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D is a plus.
• Ability to perform 2D drafting with multiple views.
• Understanding of drafting standards through coursework or hands-on projects.
• Exposure to GIS, surveying, or engineering technology coursework is helpful.
