Job summary

CC&N is hiring entry level Cable Technicians in Brookfield, WI. You will learn hands-on cable installation across new construction, facilities and data centers while working in a fast-paced environment. You will join a 100% employee-owned team with strong safety culture and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include installing low-voltage cabling, fiber splicing, testing, racks/patch panels, and coordinating with team members. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Solid attention to detail with good follow-through.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Installation of low-voltage cabling such as voice, data, security, paging, nurse-call systems, fiber optic, etc.
• Cross connect cable and perform fiber splicing/termination.
• Test polarity, connectivity and repair; install racks and patch panels.
• Set up computer rooms and process paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards.
