Job summary

Tactical Engineering & Analysis, Inc. in San Diego, CA, seeks an Entry- or Junior-level Software Developer to support the NIWC Pacific Modernization project.

You will contribute to new features in C++ for system diagnostics, BLOS TDLs, FIM/FOM handling, and software defect correction to strengthen battlefield awareness. Under close supervision, you will design, code, test, and debug, participate in Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with senior developers to deliver robust software systems.

Qualifications

Foundational knowledge of C++ and software development
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development
Experience with testing, debugging, and code reviews

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, coding, and testing software applications.
Collaborate with senior developers to understand requirements and contribute to development efforts.
Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
Debug and fix minor software issues and learn new technologies as needed.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
Maintain and improve existing software systems.
