Job summary

Responsibilities

• Follow safety culture and wear PPE when required.
• Review requisitions and create purchase orders, then monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.
• Find and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Work with operating system to maintain accuracy of purchase orders and communicate availability dates and quantities to internal customers.
• Purchase items at favorable price, quality, and specification requirements.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers and vendors.
• Maintain current and potential source information and manage files for raw material certificates.
• Coordinate internal and external logistics for pickup/drop-off and truck maintenance.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for reliable supply and pricing.
• Follow 6S and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
