Job summary

CP Communications seeks a part-time Bench Technician at our Yorktown Heights facility. You will join a team responsible for maintenance and upkeep of broadcast equipment, performing component-level repairs and coordinating with manufacturers and vendors for outsourced work.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced engineering environment. Prior experience with hand tools and multimeters is a plus, and the position is on-site.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs above shoulder level.
• Clean driver's license.
• Detail oriented with a safety-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Component level repairs of broadcast equipment.
• Communicating with manufacturers and vendors to schedule outsourced repairs and track RMAs, shipments, and related documents.
• Maintaining in-house stock levels for parts and supplies required for repairs.
• Familiarity with cable harness assemblies and repairs a plus.
• Reading schematics and build sheets.
