DOWL is seeking a Bridge & Structures Designer 1 to perform engineering tasks related to structural design and analysis under the supervision of a licensed Engineer. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and the ability to apply technical concepts quickly while contributing to a variety of civil engineering tasks.

You will work on projects in bridge design, construction support, and related services, with oversight from senior staff and opportunities to grow your skills in calculations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• EIT/EI certification within 6 months of hire.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• No minimum years of experience specified.

Responsabilités

• Performs basic design tasks with oversight.
• Prepares structural calculations with oversight.
• Edits boilerplate provisions and develops contract plans and cost estimates with oversight.
• Works on structural design teams with oversight.
• Seeks guidance before external communications.
