Job summary

DOWL Brand is seeking a Bridge & Structures Designer 1 to join our on-site team in Oregon. You will perform structural design and analysis under supervision, contributing to projects in the bridge sector and learning from senior engineers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and EIT within six months, with a preference for a Master's degree. You will work with AutoCAD or MicroStation, MathCAD, and MS Office in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• EIT/EI certification within 6 months of hire.
• Basic understanding of design codes (AASHTO, ACI, AISC).

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis tasks under supervision.
• Prepare structural calculations with oversight.
• Edit boilerplate design provisions and develop contract plans.
• Collaborate with team to deliver simple tasks on schedule.
