Job summary

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Engineer / Bridge Inspector in our Cranberry Township office. This position involves inspecting and evaluating bridges and similar structures to determine their structural condition.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, possess basic computer skills, and have strong communication abilities. Responsibilities include assisting in inspections, drafting reports, and preparing repair recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is mandatory.
• EIT certification preferred or must be obtained.
• Ability to navigate bridge structures and work in various outdoor conditions required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection of bridges and foundations for structural integrity.
• Draft reports for review by Team Leaders.
• Prepare recommendations for repair quantities and costs for bridges.
