Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Durham, NC is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operator to operate and oversee production equipment to meet daily goals. You will follow SOPs, maintain clean rooms, and assist with equipment maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree or Bioworks Certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in pharmaceutical solid dose manufacturing or FDA-regulated industry preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand complex product documentation and SOPs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor & control equipment, systems & processes.
• Clean & sanitize manufacturing, filling & packaging rooms & equipment per SOPs.
• Execute production schedule to achieve production goals.
• Handle labeling & components correctly; transferring, counting, FIFO, returns.
• Follow SOPs and job instructions to ensure compliance.
• Identify, report & resolve quality issues.
• Support equipment maintenance including preventive tasks.
• Record production data in BPR and related forms.
• Follow all safety & environmental requirements.
