Job summary

UNC-Chapel Hill's Collaborative Studies Coordinating Center is seeking an entry-level biostatistician to contribute to cohort observational studies and clinical trials. You will support study design, data analysis, and reporting, working within a multidisciplinary team to meet sponsor deliverables.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s with 0-2 years of experience, knowledge of SAS, data management, and strong communication skills to present results and collaborate with investigators.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s and 0-2 years’ experience; or combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of observational and clinical trials study design, data analysis, data management and SAS required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments in a multi-center research setting.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to present statistical results clearly.
• Proficiency with SAS, MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and email tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an entry level biostatistician on cohort observational studies and/or clinical trials.
• Support study design, data analysis, quality assurance and reporting.
• Collaborate with investigators and team members to meet sponsor deliverables.
