ACT Biomed is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Technician Aide to support our biomedical equipment maintenance, testing, and repair operations.

This entry-level position assists senior biomedical technicians with routine service tasks, equipment setup, troubleshooting, and documentation, offering an excellent starting point for a career in electronics, biomedical equipment technology, or engineering support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of computers, electronics, circuits, or electrical systems.
• Ability to read simple schematics or diagrams and willingness to learn.
• Comfort with hand tools and basic electronic test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with diagnosing and repairing electronic and biomedical equipment.
• Support installation, testing, and calibration of biomedical equipment and electronic assemblies.
• Perform basic inspection and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Prepare tools, materials, and workstations for repairs and service projects.
• Assist with wiring harnesses, cables, and circuit boards under supervision.
• Use basic test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and measurement tools.
• Maintain organized work areas and update service records.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Occasionally accompany technicians on service visits to healthcare facilities.
